"ICAS was a very rewarding experience for our students. The process of payment, registration and students participating in the online test went very smoothly. I'd highly recommend this extra curriculum activity to all schools"

“ICAS has been a dream ride for us this year. We had fantastic communication from the NZ ICAS consultant right from the start. We enrolled the children with ease, and printed their one-time codes for use later on. Connecting to the competition on the day was effortless. The children found the whole experience intellectually challenging, rewarding and stress-free. It was fantastic to see the online results come back within a week or so of the competition. The end result has been a rich and rewarding competition for our students. Parents love the feedback, and the opportunity for children to be rewarded for academic talent is priceless. Congratulations to ICAS Assessments on a beautifully written competition, which has always been of the very highest standard. It has brought another ray of sunshine to our school year”

_B. Reid,

Matua School ICAS Co-ordinator - Tauranga, New Zealand

“Congratulations on such a fast turn around and very useful report analysis. Being a school co-ordinator, I was very impressed with the level of detail and data breakdown in the comprehensive and year group reports. Thank you ICAS Assessments.”

ICAS Science provides valuable data that identifies areas of growth and development in science knowledge and skills. The style of questions also encourages critical thinking. For the teachers: Identify areas for improvement, as well as areas of growth. For the students: practice at completing a set of questions under exam conditions, practice answering multiple choice questions, a chance to challenge themselves, an opportunity to think critically and apply information from outside their specialty. Online results portal is very easy to use, and is filterable which makes your search even quicker. Data from previous years is stored there too so it makes comparisons from year to year very quick and easy.

Head of Science - Avila College

Ready to flex their morning Maths muscle, here are brothers Josh, Year 6, and Lachlan, Year 4, setting off for their ICAS Mathematics tests at Bilgola Plateau Public School, Sydney. Having both sat English earlier this month, it's the boys' first-ever ICAS and they were surprised to see just how many of their classmates were also taking part. Lachlan's verdict of the test itself? "I thought it was fun." Of his English test, Josh said: "I liked the stories about fish and sleeping." What have your children been saying about ICAS this year? It would be good if you guys stopped designing tests that required kids to identify differences based on colours (this generally happens in the Science or Maths assessments). It's a bit hard (or practically impossible) for kids to see it if they are colour blind.

Why is it a two week wait for login details at the Jem testing centre? Considering how much you charge this is atrocious and you now also have the unhelpful policy of refusing to release tap id and logins to parents. Do better!

When will the results release?

ICAS Assessments

A common question we hear at this time of year is: "My child just sat ICAS. When do I get their results?" To keep you in the loop - the full process takes around 14 days.

Your school will receive online results for an ICAS subject within 4-6 days of the last sitting day of that subject. They will then process these and share with you your login details for you to access your child's online results and certificate on our Results Portal. This usually takes schools around 14 days.

We ask parents to allow your busy schools the time they need for this. You can read more about the process here: bit.ly/3cjqYSu

Does this apply to those who already have a sign on from previous years? It’s been 14 days since the Digital Technology subject and results haven’t shown via the portal yet.

If you are going to have this ridiculous policy where you will not provide result login details, at least attempt to provide the details by email in a more expedient manner! Basically anyone who undertakes the test with your company directly will receive the worst service.

Hi guys it is a shame that we do not see the question papers on which the children got marked. So I have no way to interpret the results or trust in the credibility of the system. I see ICAS is becoming a money making scheme. It’s educational value is on the decline and my confidence in the results is low

My son's school did not participate in the ICAS, therefore I paid for him to sit it at the JEM testing centre. Surely you will be sending me the Tap ID and Pin number directly? His school did not pay for him to sit the test, so they do not have the right to his results

When will writing result come out please? It has been 6 weeks since the test. Thanks

Would you please explain why the TAP ID and pin are so hard to access? Surely you could make them available electronically and reduce the calls, emails and FB page questions. Why the secret y?

It's fine that you ignored my previous comment. However, I have to repeat my question again - when can we have our login details for those ones booked directly via JEM center?

Hi, my son has missed his science test because he was very ill and was absent from school, i have asked the school about catchup test , but they are not sure , i have not been notified anything about catchup test from school or icas .

When will be the writing results released?

Hi, if my child's school didn't participate and I have enrolled my child on my own, will the school still gets the results or do I get directly?

When will the ICAS results be out for NZ?

Was about to ask 😆

Has the result of spelling rest been released?

Hi, can I please ask if the results are statewide or nationwide? All the students across different states get the same percentage of the results or not? Thanks

What is the wait time for the writing results?

How can I get my sons ID?

Do you get notified on the portal if you are an award winner? ICAS Assessments

It would be nice if your customer service people would reply to my email I sent last week. My son sat English paper D last Thursday. He clicked to go onto question 46 and an ICAS error message popped up. The test administrator tried fixing it but couldn't, so my son was not able to complete the test even though he had enough time left. This is the first ICAS test he has ever sat and given this experience, I doubt he will be doing them next year. What are you going to do about kids that experience these issues, your error has cost him marks which is NOT fair!!!°

Have the writing results been released?

Are the writing results being released today as planned?

We have Tap id and password from last years . It’s been 14days for DT and Writing . Still can’t see the results

When are we getting the results for Mathematics?
