ICAS is proud to launch the ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program — a new initiative that aims to empower schools to create their own academic enrichment opportunities, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the chance to stretch themselves, grow, and succeed.

What is the ICAS Academic Enrichment Grant?

The ICAS Academic Enrichment Grant provides funding for schools to design and deliver original academic enrichment initiatives that extend student learning, encourage academic challenge, and nurture future scholars. Ten schools with the most compelling proposals will each receive a $3,000 grant.

How the funding can be used

  • Academic enrichment clubs (ie STEM clubs, creative writing workshops).
  • Innovation hubs focused on higher-order thinking.
  • Programs for gifted and high-potential learners.
  • After-school or holiday learning intensives.
  • Specialist-led workshops or guest speaker events focused on building advanced skills. 
  • Development of academic enrichment resources and material.

Who is eligible

Schools that have at least one student scheduled to sit an ICAS 2026 assessment, either through PPS or direct order, are eligible to apply for an ICAS Academic Enrichment Grant.

Applications will be evaluated on how well they demonstrate:

  • A commitment to academic excellence. 
  • A clear plan for a school-led enrichment initiative. 
  • Inclusive participation strategies, ensuring access for a broad range of students, including underrepresented groups.

How to apply

To apply, you must provide a short project proposal (max 500 words) via the application form outlining: 

  • The objective of your initiative. 
  • Your intended student cohort and number of participants. 
  • Your alignment to the ICAS values of challenge, growth, and academic excellence. 
  • How success will be measured for your initiative (e.g. student engagement, learning outcomes).
