Last updated: 30 March 2026

1. Eligibility Criteria

The ICAS 2026 Student Scholarship Program (Scholarship) is a scholarship in the form of a one-hundred dollar ($100) single-use voucher provided by Janison Solutions Pty Ltd (trading as ICAS Assessments) (ICAS Assessments) to assist eligible students with the cost of participating in the ICAS 2026 Assessment. It is not a gift card or cash equivalent.

Eligibility to apply for the Scholarship is:

  1. open to school-aged students who are eligible to participate in the ICAS 2026 academic competition (ICAS 2026) in Australia or New Zealand who have either

 already registered and paid for one or more ICAS Assessment/s in 2026; or

  • intend to register for one or more ICAS Assessment/s in 2026 before registrations close on Monday, 27 July 2026 (11:59pm AEST).

AND;

  1. The student must participate in ICAS 2026 through one of the following approved channels:
  • At their school located in Australia or New Zealand, regardless of whether registration was completed by the school or via the ICAS parent payment system;
  • At a Cliftons ICAS testing centre located in Australia; or
  • Through FOCUS Education in New Zealand.

The Scholarship is not open to students participating in ICAS 2026 through EQDemic or Eduvision in Australia.

2. How to Apply

To apply for the Scholarship, a parent or legal guardian must complete and submit the official online scholarship application form on behalf of the student.

As part of the application, the parent or legal guardian must answer the following question on their own behalf and on behalf of their child (Application Question):

What would participating in ICAS mean for your child, and how would this scholarship help make that possible?

Responses must be 250 words or less. No additional supporting documentation is required at the time of application.

Given that eligible students are school-aged (typically Years 2–12), applications must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting the application, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

  • They are legally authorised to act on behalf of the student;
  • They consent to the student’s participation in the Scholarship and the ICAS 2026 competition;
  • All information provided in the application is true, accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
  • They agree to the Janison Privacy Policy and are legally authorised to submit personal details on behalf of the student.

Consideration will be given to applications that clearly articulate both of the following selection criteria (Selection Criteria):

  • Access and Need – How the scholarship would help to make participation possible, particularly if cost or other circumstances currently limit access, and;
  • Meaning for Your Child – What participating in ICAS would represent for your child and why the opportunity would matter to them.

Only one application may be submitted per student. Duplicate or incomplete entries may be deemed invalid.

Applications must be received within the published scholarship application period (See Key Dates below). Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

3. Judging and Selection Process

All scholarship applications will be reviewed and assessed by a panel appointed by ICAS (Judging Panel).

The Judging Panel will evaluate applications based on the responses to the Application Question, with regard to the Selection Criteria.

The decisions of the Judging Panel are final and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.

ICAS reserves the right to not award all (or any) scholarships if suitable candidates are not identified.
