Terms and Conditions for ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program (Australia & New Zealand) 2026

Nature of Grant

The ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program (grant) is provided by Janison Solutions Pty Ltd (trading as ICAS Assessments) (ICAS Assessments) as a community education investment to support academic enrichment initiatives. The grant does not constitute payment for services, and schools are not making any taxable supply to ICAS Assessments in exchange for the funding.

Value and Number of Grants

A total number of 10 grants are available in 2026, up to a total of $3,000 AUD/NZD (as applicable) per grant.

Eligibility

Applications for grants are open to schools in Australia and New Zealand with at least (1) one student who is scheduled to sit an ICAS exam, either through PPS or direct order, in Australia or New Zealand.

Application Period

  • Applications open: 9 February 2026, 2pm AEST/NZST
  • Applications close: 26 June 2026, 11:59 pm AEST/NZST
  • Late applications will not be accepted.

Application Submission

  • Applications must be submitted via the official ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program application form.
  • Schools must submit all required fields and supplementary information outlined in the application guidelines.
  • Applications are limited to (1) one submission per school.

Funding Use

  • Successful schools will receive $3,000 AUD/NZD (as applicable).
  • Grants must be utilised by successful schools for the purposes outlined in the official ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program application form and cannot otherwise be redirected to fund any other purpose (for example, to subsidise entry into commercial competitions or third-party enrichment programs).

Selection Criteria

Applications will be judged based on:

  • Alignment with ICAS values: challenge, growth, excellence.
  • Innovativeness and originality of the initiative.
  • Impact and inclusivity of student participation.
  • Sustainability and potential for long-term benefit.

Judging Panel

  • A panel comprising ICAS internal educational specialists and staff;
  • Decisions made by the judging panel are final and not subject to review or appeal, however feedback on individual applications will be provided upon request where practicable to do so.

Announcement of Winners

School recipients will be announced by 6 July 2026 via direct email notification and publicly on the ICAS website and social media channels.

Recipient Obligations

Successful schools agree to:

  • Implement their funded initiative as described in the application.
  • Provide us with a report detailing outcomes and impact of the grant and funded initiative within 6 months of funding receipt.
  • These requirements constitute standard grant acquittal obligations and do not create any taxable supply for GST purposes.
  • Successful schools also consent to ICAS identifying them in promotional activities associated with the grant and permit ICAS to publicly share their success stories and outcomes without prior comment or separate authorisation from them.

Funding Disbursement

  • Funding will be provided in a single instalment following announcement, unless otherwise agreed between us and successful schools.
  • Recipients must provide us with written acknowledgment of funding receipt within 1 business day.

Liability and Conditions of Funding

  • ICAS Assessments reserves the right to withdraw funding if the recipient fails to comply with these terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) the obligations outlined under the section titled ‘Recipient Obligations’ In such cases, ICAS Assessments will issue an invoice to the recipient for the amount of funding withdrawn.
  • Recipients agree to comply with all applicable local legislation, educational standards and child protection laws.
  • Excluding liability that cannot be limited by law, the total liability of ICAS Assessments for any loss or damage pursuant to these terms and conditions shall in no circumstances exceed the total amount of funding that has been granted to the applicable School (or if no amount has been granted, then $100 AUD).
  • In no circumstances shall ICAS Assessments be liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage including but not limited to loss of profits and/or loss of opportunity

Privacy and Data Protection

  • All applicant information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (as applicable) and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available here.

Modification and Cancellation and Governing Law

  • ICAS reserves the right to modify or cancel the ICAS Academic Enrichment Grants Program (including these Terms and Conditions) due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notification provided to applicants.
    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Consent

  • By submitting an application for the ICAS Academic Enrichment Grant, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Janison Privacy Policy.
