Reach Assessments subjects
Reach Assessments encompass literacy and STEM subjects, from English to Digital Technologies
With Reach English, students will read a variety of texts which narrate, describe, explain, argue, persuade and review. The texts will increase in complexity within each paper.
Reach Writing assesses students’ ability to write an extended response to a given task. Two forms of writing, narrative and persuasive, will be assessed over time.
Reach Spelling assesses and reports students’ skills at spelling words in different three different contexts: dictation, applying rules and conventions, and error correction.
With Reach Grammar & Punctuation, students will be asked to demonstrate knowledge and skills in grammar and punctuation.
Reach Mathematics assesses students on Number & Arithmetic, Algebra & Patterns, Measures & Units, Space & Geometry, and Chance & Data.
Reach Science assesses students across areas such as Earth & Beyond, Natural & Processed Materials, Life & Living, and Energy & Change.
Reach Digital Technologies assesses students across areas such as Word Processing, Graphics & Multimedia, Internet & Email, Spreadsheets & Databases, and Programming.
